welcome! we're wedding photographers who call peoria, Illinois home, but we love to travel too! whether you're planning a huge, invite-the-whole-town shindig in the backyard where you grew up or an intimate elopement in the mountains, count us in.

It's me, Stephanie! I look really put-together here, but in my normal day-to-day you can find me in my yoga pants and one of the 5 different v-neck tees that I maybe bought in all the colors (when you find something you love, you cherish it, right?). I'm the primary photographer behind Stephanie Bartman Photography. My husband, Jared, joined me full-time in spring of 2017, and we've been a husband and wife team ever since. Our primary focus is natural-light wedding and engagement photography, but we can't say no to a newborn or family session now and then. SBP is based in Central Illinois, but if you're getting married in some lovely non-Midwest location, please take us with you!

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Your wedding day is likely the biggest event you and your fiancé have ever planned, and it's our mission to ensure that every painstaking detail you put into it is preserved through the pictures from your day. We want you to look back at your photos 5, 10, 50 years from now and actually FEEL the emotions you felt that day.
Whether it's your mom ugly-crying when she sees you in your dress for the first time, the first kiss, or your best man taking tequila shots 5 minutes before he's supposed to give a toast, we want to be there to capture it all. If you connect with that, we'd love to third wheel and capture your sweet love and emotion.

My husband and I loved the way that she always made us feel special and comfortable, allowing the perfect balance between posed photos and candid, natural shots. Stephanie and Jared are AMAZING! Rudy and I went through our wedding pictures last night and just...wow, seriously. Can I be cliché and say, Stephanie deserves 1000 stars?! Because it's the truth. Stephanie was right there, taking every moment in with me. I cry each and every time I look at our pictures. From when Riley and I read our letters to each other, to when I cried when I saw my dad for the first time, to when Riley was trying not to cry as I walked down the aisle. She captured every raw emotion. Even the emotions I didn't get a chance to see.
